Cetacean Connections

Welcome to Cetacean Connections, a lesson plan for students to engage with ocean exploration, research skills, and our natural world. It is made possible by National Geographic Society, Ocean Exploration Trust, and developed by FutureSwell, previously known as The Conservationist Collective.

Cetacean Connections is a 3-day hybrid learning curriculum where students will follow a team of National Geographic Explorers aboard the E/V Nautilus to study dolphins in Hawai’i. Through video lessons and actionable activities, students will develop their own explorer skills and practice scientific inquiry.

This lesson plan can also be found on Ocean Exploration Trust’s website here.
