Uplifting ocean creators to make collective change

Futureswells Creator Lab is an 8 week accelerator equipping ocean conservation creators with the storytelling skills, campaign strategy, and long-term clarity on their role within the collective  mission.

Through mentorship, training seminars, and leading their own narrative project, creators graduate with the tools to drive systemic progress for planet ocean – by shaping public perspective on the issues that matter most.

The inaugural 2026 cohort is taking applications until May 15, 2026. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and will close when all spots are filled.

When:

June 15, 2026 - August 10, 2026 (Monday Sessions)

Where:

You can be anywhere! We will meet weekly over the course of 8 weeks over Zoom.

What to expect:

This course is live, virtual, and interactive, with outside coursework weekly. Students will be expected to join seminars, read and consume prep materials, and complete a course-long narrative project including four pieces of content in partnership with FutureSwell’s production team. 

Creators should expect to commit up to 5-10 hours per week, have strong time management skills, and be committed to meeting course expectations and requirements.

Course Requirements:

  • Attend all seminars (and come prepared)

  • Work with FutureSwell to lead a content package, by creating at least four pieces of content (Graphic/infographic, low-lift trend, explainer video/talking head, vlog)

  • Complete 1:1 mentorship session
